The ICBT Biotech Tools leadership team is a group of Memphians who want to build a based company that brings innovation and career opportunities to the Memphis area. The company’s board members advising the leadership team have backgrounds in genetics, genomics, pharmacogenetics, medicinal pharmacology, clinical epidemiology and clinical research providing a broad expertise to guide the development of novel scientific research tools to improve the lives of scientists.

Tifahri Yusuf

Chief Executive Officer

After obtaining her BS in Biomedical engineering with a double minor in Biology and Chemistry, Tifahri ventured into entrepreneurship where she strives to make an impact. As the CEO, Tifahri manages the day to day operations and resources, acts as the main point of communication between the board of directors and executive staff, and ensures the company mission is achieved.

Ian Johnson

Chief Technical Officer

After earning a BS in Biomedical engineering from the University of Memphis, Ian entered the entrepreneurial world to explore his passions for computer aided design and 3D printing. As the Chief Technical Officer, his main role involves product design to allow for the company’s ideas to come to life. Ian exhibits a strong attention to detail, and his goal is to create top quality products that further the company’s mission.

Ben Silberberg

Chief Innovation Officer

Ben is in his final semester at the University of Memphis pursuing a BS in
Biomedical Engineering. Ben has a keen interest in out of the box problem solving, and business operations. As the Chief Innovation Officer, Ben works closely with the CEO and the CTO to incorporate innovations into products.
